PM Thompson outlines issues to be addressed with Obama Administration The current global economic recession has begun to have a negative impact on the Caribbean region, Barbados Prime Minister David Thompson told participants at a major joint public and private sector meeting in Miami recently and he has outlined a menu of issues -including the implementation of more sensitive immigration policies-which the region wants addressed when the new US Administration of President-elect Barack Obama takes office next month.
